NYCN COORDINATOR ELECT SPEECH AT THE 2024 LOCAL GOVERNMENT BRANCH ELECTION HELD ON 25TH OF JULY 2024.


"Fellow young people, community leaders, dear delegates and honored guests, dear leaders of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.


Today, we made history as the elected local government youth coordinator, I'm very happy for the trust bestowed upon me, and I appreciate your support. We believe in each other, and we achieved something truly remarkable I want to tell you that I am committed to empowering and amplifying the voices of our young generation.




We, the youth, are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers of our community. We deserve a seat at the table, and our voices deserve to be heard.


As we move forward, My mission is to create a platform for youth engagement, advocacy, and development to address the challenges we face and to build a brighter future for all youth across the local government.

 We will work together and tap from your experiences to address the issues that matter most to us, from education and employment to mental health and social justice


Through our initiatives, we will foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and creativity. We will provide resources, support, and opportunities for personal growth and skill-building.


Let us unite and become the driving force for positive change in our dear local government.

Let us show that we are not just the future, but also the present.

Imeko Youth Seek Federal Government’s Intervention to Establish National Park at Amule Rock

  ‎ Youths of Imeko community in Ogun State have called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish a National Park at the historic Amule Rock , Imeko , in order to preserve its cultural, environmental, and historical significance . The youths also appealed to the Ogun State Government to urgently develop the site into a standard tourist center capable of attracting visitors from within and outside the country. ‎Speaking during a community engagement held in Imeko, the youth spokesman described Amule Rock as a vital cultural landmark that represents the identity, traditions, and heritage of the Imeko people . Youth stakeholders from the Ogun West Senatorial District have thrown their collective weight behind a consensus-driven bid to wrest the state's governorship for the district in 2027, signalling a new chapter of coordinated political action in one of Ogun State's most historically significant zones.
