OGUN WEST YOUTHS CLOSE RANKS, MOBILIZE FOR 2027 GOVERNORSHIP PUSH

Youth stakeholders from the Ogun West Senatorial District have thrown their collective weight behind a consensus-driven bid to wrest the state's governorship for the district in 2027, signalling a new chapter of coordinated political action in one of Ogun State's most historically significant zones. FIALGSU Redefinition Team ’26 Hosts Successful JAMB Orientation Programme in Imeko-Afon LG

  On Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, the Federation of Imeko-Afon Local Government Students Union (FIALGSU) Redefinition Team ’26, under the leadership of Comrade Otolorin Nasirudeen Kehinde, successfully organized a highly impactful JAMB Orientation Programme for SS3 students and prospective JAMB candidates across Imeko-Afon Local Government. The programme was thoughtfully designed to guide, enlighten, and adequately prepare participants for the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). It focused on equipping students with the right information, effective strategies, and the confidence required to excel in their examinations.  The Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imeko Afon Local Branch, respectfully reminds His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, of the commitment made to the good people of Imeko Afon regarding the reconstruction of the Olorunda to Imeko Road. We appreciate the efforts and support of the executive governor for his intervention on construction of Afon Town road, Oke Ola road Imeko Town and many more road projects within his administration, we also appreciate the Governor for fulfilling his promise during the commissioning of Afon township road.  This road remains a critical link for economic activities, transportation, education, and healthcare access for residents and neighboring communities.
