Imeko Youth Seek Federal Government’s Intervention to Establish National Park at Amule Rock

  ‎ Youths of Imeko community in Ogun State have called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish a National Park at the historic Amule Rock , Imeko , in order to preserve its cultural, environmental, and historical significance . The youths also appealed to the Ogun State Government to urgently develop the site into a standard tourist center capable of attracting visitors from within and outside the country. ‎Speaking during a community engagement held in Imeko, the youth spokesman described Amule Rock as a vital cultural landmark that represents the identity, traditions, and heritage of the Imeko people . Youth stakeholders from the Ogun West Senatorial District have thrown their collective weight behind a consensus-driven bid to wrest the state's governorship for the district in 2027, signalling a new chapter of coordinated political action in one of Ogun State's most historically significant zones. The declaration emerged from a stakeholders' engagement and townhall meeting convened by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogun West chapter, under the stewardship of its State Vice Chairman, Comrade Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo.
