NYCN IMEKO-AFON ELECTORAL COMMITTEE HELD SCREENING FOR ASPIRANT

 

The electoral committee conducts the screening of incoming branch executives with success.

The electoral committee that was put in place to conduct the 2024 National Youth Council of Nigeria Imeko-Afon Local government branch election perfect the step before the electioneering date by conducting the screening of all aspirants in a grand style as many positions screening were conducted.

All thanks to the Director of youth and youth officer of the local government that was part of the screening exercise.

Imeko Youth Seek Federal Government’s Intervention to Establish National Park at Amule Rock

  ‎ Youths of Imeko community in Ogun State have called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish a National Park at the historic Amule Rock , Imeko , in order to preserve its cultural, environmental, and historical significance . The youths also appealed to the Ogun State Government to urgently develop the site into a standard tourist center capable of attracting visitors from within and outside the country. ‎Speaking during a community engagement held in Imeko, the youth spokesman described Amule Rock as a vital cultural landmark that represents the identity, traditions, and heritage of the Imeko people . Youth stakeholders from the Ogun West Senatorial District have thrown their collective weight behind a consensus-driven bid to wrest the state's governorship for the district in 2027, signalling a new chapter of coordinated political action in one of Ogun State's most historically significant zones.
