NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE AT 64 HON.PRINCE OJOAWO DIG DEEP.
"WE ARE WHO WE ARE BY THE VIRTUE OF WHO WE THINK WE ARE"
Firstly,I congratulates each and every citizens of this beautiful country called Nigeria on the occasion of our independence anniversary celebration today 1st of October, 2024.
It has been the grace of God.
I must specialy congratulate my good people of Imeko/Afon Local Government a virgin land as we celebrate Nigeria Independence at 64th.
Wow! 64th years of developing our dear fathers and mothers land has not been rosy but the sacrifices made so far have shown that God created Nigeria for a reason. In which we would get there one day.
The heroes and heroins who have kept their feet firm in order for us to have a better and greener future have laid down some developmental templates which I believe in nearest future would bear good fruits for us to have in aboundance.
As the say goes "East or West, home is the best"
Our fathers and mothers land can not be taken for granted,we need to come together as one with positive minds that "we can do it" before we achieve the Nigeria we are dreaming of.
I urge my fellow citizens right from our various Wards, Local Government,States and Federal level to have a mindset that can propel Nigeria to a greater heights.
Let's see our challenges as a stepping stones to the greater heights while our achievements so far since her creation should be a bedrock for more goodies ahead.
With truth, Loyalty, dedication, love and unity I believe Nigeria can regain her lost glory.
Though the world in general are battling with series of challenges which have been melting the economy universally but if we can put up a good fight towards the cancerous effects in our system by thinking and speaking in one mind that "this is Nigeria our fathers and mothers land" by doing what it's right I believe we would make her system work more than how it's working right now.
This huge task is not meant for Mr..President,Governors Local Government Chairmen and those in the leadership position alone but the commitment put together by all of us can take us to the promise land.
There is a Yoruba adage that says "tita riro ni a n ko ila,bi o ba jina tan o ma n d'oge " it means" we circumcize through pains but later turns to fashion after it must have been healed"
Though the pains derived from subsidies removed from oil by current Federal Government led by our amiable president His Excellence Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is highly affecting each and every citizens of this country but I believe with the current developmental policies being set out by this government very soon hardship will be a thing of forgotten on our land.
We must also not relent on our fight against corruption. This fight not meant for the citizens alone, we have some external factors across the seas that aids corruption too in our land.
We must not take it easy with them. They know that if our system work perfectly we can rule the world that's the reason these external forces or factors are firing from all cylinders in making sure that curuption practices are supported secretly which makes its eradication hard but we must fight it because it's our land not theirs.
To my fellow Nigerian Youths, I beseech you all let's work hand in hands with the current government and every organizations established to propel Nigeria to a greater heights.
Lets us embrace the attitude of joining politics in our various Wards so that our voices would be heard diplomatically not by disrupting the peace of the nation through riots or protest I believe then we would laugh last and our laugh would be the best."Build the Youths, Build the Nation"
As we celebrate Nigeria independence at 64th we must always have it at the back of our minds that we are African, the land God has blessed with all the resources needed to grow and rule the world.
We can rule the world as a nation destined to do so if we know that we are who we are by virtue of who we think we are.
Who are we?
We are Nigeria!
Congratulations to all Nigerians at home and in Diaspora
God bless Nigeria
God bless Nigerian Youths
God bless our leaders.
