Ogun West Youth Leaderships lament: With the series of Programs and Movement Across the Senatorial District, challenges of transportation always affects us in terms of MobilizationšŸ˜„



 To God be the Glory, the NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA is doing greatly well than Yesterday most especially in our blessed Senatorial District, the standard is sets and not compromised. 


All our Local Governments are up and doing under the leadership of Resourceful Coordinators, may the Lord continue to lead us right. 


Challenges:

As good as Ogun West Senatorial District of the National Youth Council of Nigeria are doing (THE MOTHER/UMBRELLA BODY OF ALL YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS IN OGUN WEST SENATORIAL DISTRICT), we are still lacking some important resources which could have enable achieve more if we have:


- BUS - With the series of Programs and Movement Across the Senatorial District, challenges of transportation always affects us in terms of MobilizationšŸ˜„. 


- Funding - No Periodic (Monthly/Quarterly) Funding for the Senatorial and the Local Branches unlike some of other senatorial and Local government branches are benefitting of course we are doing our best and I can boldly say is categorically that OGUN WEST IS DOING SO WELL, but we can do better if we have more support. 


- POLITICAL EMPOWERMENT: Unlike other Senatorial, OGUN East as an example where we have some of the State Representatives from the districts and Local government coordinators as an Appointees of National Assemblies and Local Government officials, we have no record of such in Ogun West, and having this will not only serve as a motivation to other youths that are devoted to community services but also double the strength of the body in terms of financial resources. 

We are looking and upon for support on any of the listed challenges from all our political representatives, cooperate Organizations, or individuals irrespectives of Ethnicity, Religion or political party.

It will be a great Joy if any of our challenges can be met on or before the Upcoming Ogun West Youth Award, coming up on the 8th of November, 2024 at ASUP Hall, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. 

Together we will Build Ogun West of our Dream.

Imeko Youth Seek Federal Government’s Intervention to Establish National Park at Amule Rock

  ‎ Youths of Imeko community in Ogun State have called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish a National Park at the historic Amule Rock , Imeko , in order to preserve its cultural, environmental, and historical significance . The youths also appealed to the Ogun State Government to urgently develop the site into a standard tourist center capable of attracting visitors from within and outside the country. ‎Speaking during a community engagement held in Imeko, the youth spokesman described Amule Rock as a vital cultural landmark that represents the identity, traditions, and heritage of the Imeko people . OGUN WEST YOUTHS CLOSE RANKS, MOBILIZE FOR 2027 GOVERNORSHIP PUSH

Youth stakeholders from the Ogun West Senatorial District have thrown their collective weight behind a consensus-driven bid to wrest the state's governorship for the district in 2027, signalling a new chapter of coordinated political action in one of Ogun State's most historically significant zones. The declaration emerged from a stakeholders' engagement and townhall meeting convened by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogun West chapter, under the stewardship of its State Vice Chairman, Comrade Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo.
