Hon. Olasunkanmi Samuel Fagbohun Empowers 100 Micro-Business Women in Imeko-Afon

 


In a remarkable show of commitment to grassroots empowerment, Hon. Olasunkanmi Samuel Fagbohun has empowered 100 micro-business women across Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State.


The empowerment programme, which attracted numerous community leaders, political figures, youth stakeholders, and representatives of various organizations, was held to promote economic inclusion and strengthen women’s participation in local enterprise.


Speaking at the event, Hon. Fagbohun reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to women and youth development, emphasizing that sustainable growth at the community level depends on empowering individuals with the tools and opportunities to succeed.


He expressed gratitude to the attendees for their continuous support and promised to expand similar initiatives aimed at fostering self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and socio-economic advancement across Imeko-Afon Local Government.


The beneficiaries commended Hon. Fagbohun for his generosity and consistent support, describing the gesture as a practical step toward improving livelihoods and boosting local economic productivity.

Imeko Youth Seek Federal Government’s Intervention to Establish National Park at Amule Rock

  ‎ Youths of Imeko community in Ogun State have called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish a National Park at the historic Amule Rock , Imeko , in order to preserve its cultural, environmental, and historical significance . The youths also appealed to the Ogun State Government to urgently develop the site into a standard tourist center capable of attracting visitors from within and outside the country. ‎Speaking during a community engagement held in Imeko, the youth spokesman described Amule Rock as a vital cultural landmark that represents the identity, traditions, and heritage of the Imeko people .
