Imeko Youth Congress Leadership Welcomes Celestial Worldwide to Imeko Town for the 2025 Celestial Convocation

The leadership of the Imeko Youth Congress (IYC), on behalf of the vibrant and progressive youth of Imeko Town, warmly and formally welcomes Celestial Worldwide to Imeko Town on the occasion of the 2025 Celestial Convocation.

We join the global Celestial family in celebration of this historic gathering and consider it a great honor that Imeko, the spiritual birthplace of the Church, continues to serve as a center of unity, reflection, and renewed commitment to the core values of the Celestial church. This convocation is not only a moment of spiritual rejuvenation but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds across generations and nations.

The Imeko Youth Congress leadership uses this occasion to charge all members of Celestial Worldwide to continue to embrace love, peace, unity, and selfless service, as exemplified by our revered founding father, Prophet Samuel Biléhou Joseph Oshoffa (SBJ Oshoffa). His enduring legacy of faith, discipline, humility, and dedication to humanity remains a guiding light for the present generation, especially the youth, who bear the responsibility of sustaining and advancing this heritage.

Place strong emphasis on the importance of the successful establishment of the proposed Celestial International University, Imeko. This visionary project represents a transformative pathway for educational advancement, youth empowerment, research, and global engagement. The university holds immense potential to position Imeko Town as an international academic hub, create employment opportunities, foster innovation, and contribute significantly to sustainable development within the city and beyond.

Furthermore, the Imeko Youth Congress encourages Celestial Worldwide to collaborate with community stakeholders in embarking on other impactful developmental projects within Imeko Town, including infrastructure development, youth skills acquisition, entrepreneurship support, healthcare initiatives, and social empowerment programs that will enhance the socio-economic well-being of our people.

The youth of Imeko Town reaffirm their commitment to peace, hospitality, and partnership, and assure Celestial Worldwide of a supportive and conducive environment throughout the 2025 Celestial Convocation and beyond. Imeko Youth Seek Federal Government’s Intervention to Establish National Park at Amule Rock

  ‎ Youths of Imeko community in Ogun State have called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish a National Park at the historic Amule Rock , Imeko , in order to preserve its cultural, environmental, and historical significance . The youths also appealed to the Ogun State Government to urgently develop the site into a standard tourist center capable of attracting visitors from within and outside the country. ‎Speaking during a community engagement held in Imeko, the youth spokesman described Amule Rock as a vital cultural landmark that represents the identity, traditions, and heritage of the Imeko people .
